    Cool Ambient Online Sample Deformator

Tonight I made a little tool for you ambient heads I don't have a good name, yet. So, if someone has an idea?

The sampler is a bit buggy. It's still in development, so idea's/suggestions are welcome.

    Features:
    -Load samples
    -time/pitch strech
    -pitch modulator
    -delay
    -reverb
    -Gain
    -Mix
    -Limiter
    -preset manager

If you made a nice preset, let me know and I put it in a future release. Just use the preset manager and save all programs. Upload or mail me the preset file (*.txt)

If you have suggestions for improvements, let me know. I'm not great in programming with FlowStone, but I see what I can do.

Certainly looks (and I guess sounds!) interesting... But I can't try it (Mac here)

Someone can post some audio examples maybe?

I might actually try out FlowStone. I know very little about DSP programming (most of my signal processing code was written over 20 years ago in Fortran), but I know a little ruby and it might actually be fun

Cewl, I'm a starter too. We can work on some ambient stuff tool and learn from each other.
I don't know Ruby, but I know Cobol, Delphi, Pascal and ASP. So Ruby is just another language for me to learn.

Most of my ruby code involves processing XML data Not really relevant here. I've just downloaded FlowStone. Hopefully I'll get to play with it for a while at the weekend. Those robotic control applications look interesting. My background was Basic, Fortran, Assembler, C and bash.

    Yuroun,

I'm about to install Flowstone. Do you think it's safe to install on my my main music workstation? Could be a pain moving VSTs between machines if I install it on a laptop.

I have that too and have no problems with it.

    Yuroun,

I have a quick (I hope) question for you. Are you using the paid or unpaid version of Flowstone? According to the website the export to VST option is available on a pay per use basis in the free version. That could become quite expensive with my rusty programming skills

    I have the paid version.

I can render programs for you, if you want.

Hooray, not only an ambient VST, but an AO VST! Off to play..
