Today is the day. Recital day for my students. We have one of these a year. It's a huge moment for them and for me.
For those of you who don't know, I teach guitar for a living. It's pretty much a dream job. Playing guitar all day and getting paid for it. How cool is that?
My wife and I opened our own business almost 4 years ago and we're still open. It's quite a testament to the quality of instruction I provide my students and the integrity we have in what we do.

I've spent weeks if not months planning for it. But today, in about 2 and a half hours, it all starts. Then it all ends 4 hours later. Only to return again 365 days later.
S1gns Of L1fe has been put in the backseat for this event. But as soon as it's over, it's about to explode. I've got my Ebow. I've got my GT-8 GTR FX pedal back home, ready to rip. Strings changed. New studio headphones for the night sessions. School is almost out. Summer is here. New music is about to be made.
Oh, and amongst all this preparation, I did manage to record, arrange, and bounce out a new ambient online podcast! It'll be coming out tonight after the event, Monday morning for the Euros. Be excited! It's a good one.
I'll be back on AO soon...very soon. In the meantime, wish me luck!
Cheers.
