I used to listen to "Remanufacture" waaaay back in the day, like mid 90's when it came out and it took me a long time to realize how much of an influence that album had on me. They were doing stuff nobody was doing at the time.

I think the first song i heard was this one

And it pretty much blew my mind. Been a fan ever since! Actually I would love to learn how to play guitar like Dino Cazares! He is fucking awesome!

I might actually get back into Guitar again, I was thinking of picking up an 7 String Ibanez and learning how to play some Metal Riffs.

'Demanufacture' was the album which reawakened my interest in metal. It's only years later that you realize just how far ahead of their time they were. And have you heard their cover of Gary Numan's 'Cars'?

My new album "Syncretism" is available now, here:

Demanufacture and Obsolete are excellent records. Even the remix albums, though they dated very quickly, were worthwhile attempts at pushing contemporary boundaries in heavy music.

I still use Shock to test how well a sound system can handle a sudden... shock >.>

That hit right after the intro (around 32 seconds) can be pretty brutal to a system that can't handle the bass :D

Take this as tongue in cheek, it's nothing scientific and purely something I do to amuse myself.
                  Meh.

I love Dissidents. I was listening to The Flat Earth a couple of days ago. Dolby has made some great albums.

Which is about as far from Fear Factory as you can get...

"Obsolete" was the last FF album that I really liked. Once the last notes and sound fx of "Timelessness" faded away, that was the finale of my interest in FF.
