Pleasey pleasey please help meeeeeee. I am desperately trying to find a particular piece of ambient...inspirational...piano...with strings (I think)... chillout music. I'd say it's well known, and I have seen/heard it used for emotive/inspirational TV (ads or programs).

But I have no idea of the name or artist??

I know this description is really vague. :(

It's probably more similar to the kind of pianos in Hoppipolla by Sigur Ross (just without the drums etc). That kind of relaxing but uplifting. More ambient than classical.

Thanks for your time but I am afraid that is not it. Though that is a great tune.

As for the piece I am looking for, I do not think it has drums. And certainly no vocals. But then I have not heard the whole piece so... :/

I was thinking of just the intro piano part. Most commercials chop and loop the parts they like.

And just to clarify: I am not a Coldplay fan, just heard that piano part on a couple of commercials before.

Well, I guess you're in luck...and in a hard place. There's lots of music in that vein - and it might be hard to find your particular track. Without any hope of picking yours, here's a few:

Eluvium has a few more songs that might fit the mold on that album.
