  • Anybody doing FAWM or RPMChallenge?

    Hi all -

I know FAWM (fawm.org/help) is more about traditional songwriting than is this forum's focus, but I'm still curious if anyone's planning on taking part this year. Perhaps more of interest to this crowd is the RPM Challenge (http://rpmchallenge.com/index.php?op...270&Itemid=332) - anyone on board with that one? I did an EP for this past year's NaSoAlMo (nasolalmo.org), and it was great fun - one of my friends and collaborators did as well, and we've decided to do a joint project for RPM Challenge.

I personally find these sorts of time-bound projects very fulfilling (that's one of the reasons I enjoy the Disquiet Juntos (sp?) so much). Less time for self-editing and over-producing (two traits I possess in abundance). What say the rest of you?

I've been drawn to participate in Disquiet Junto and Naviar Haiku more lately. The time limited aspect forces one to abandon the agonizing and just create something and let it go.
Only dead fish go with the flow.

I do Naviar and Disquiet - not every one but when time allows. But I don't know FAWM or RPM.

I didn't know about the Naviar Records projects (Haiku and Tacet) - must investigate... Thanks for the tip!
