Yes. The new Metatron Omega album is on the way...and it sounds amazing. I highly respect Cryo Chamber as a label.

Stupid me - I forgot to mention these internet radio stations:

http://www.darkambientradio.de/news.php (no ads and station announcments - only music!!!)
    http://ghostboxradio.blogspot.de/

There are a few more, mainly from Russia and Ukraine (why from eastern europe? Why not Spain or Mexico??? Too much sun there?), but I forgot their names (can look for them if you are interested, but I think, you now have more ressources than time to listen  and need no more). Normally I listen to the german DAR, only occasionally to ghostbox.

Thanks, I haven't heard this stuff before.

thanks for the overwhelming number of responses, guys! i'm slowly making my way through this stuff while creating art. i listened to excavation a few times and found it quite cool; miste is probably my favorite track (that vocal chop!). i've made my way through some of raison's work too, but i thought a decent amount of his earlier stuff was underwhelming. i'll post as i listen to more of it (and post the art i made while listening to it, too).

here's what i made listening to excavation:

i might use it as track art or something later. i dunno.

that album was more ambient with dark themes than dark ambient. even so, i found it too weird to really get into, which was odd since i like weird music.

In this thread from a german synth forum you may find many good examples (Kammarheit, raison d'être, Tholen, Morthound, Alphaxone, Tehôm, Atrium Carceri, Treha Sektori etc.), - just skip the german discussion and enjoy the vidoes and links to bandcamp:

And visit the web pages of the labels Cryo Chamber and Cyclic Law. Lots of good dark ambient there.

He also has CDs released as Sephiroth, one of which (Draconian Poetry) is currently available as easy download on Amazon.
