Originally from October 2010, I have just tidied it up. By my standards, this is quite short

Love the sounds on here - the last part from 3:20 really ties it all together. the vox is a nice addendum. cool track! -
Thanks very much for checking this out, phoenstorm. Glad you liked it
I was a little nervous of using that SampleTank soprano vocal as it had an obvious sampled sound, but by restricting it to less than 2 octaves and sending it through Shimmer, I was able to partially conceal some of those artefacts.Comment

Here is the 2021 remix of THX-15. The remix was quite a straightforward affair, consisting of EQ, levelling, and panning tweaks. I added EQuivocate instances for a couple of instruments to target specific problems, fixed the timing of a trance gate, and replaced Ferric TDS with Satin on the master bus, before mastering in T-Racks5.
I hope it is gloomy enough for youComment

The vocal is the "soprano ahh" preset from Sampletank2 with a little bit of polishing/processing.

Gloomy is good, 'cos that is what I was after. I thought the beat was closer to old "Hip Hop" territory, but I'm not exactly an expert in these things, The piano comes from SampleTank2 Free edition. I think that was released sometime around 2004, but I didn't discover it until 2010.
Thanks very much for listening, SB. Glad you liked it
