....or get hold of Metal Foundry SDX, but I think you probably didn't want to hear that :frown:
I think you should try to work on the bassline. If you give it a slightly different rhythmic emphasis, it may give you an idea for a new drum riff that doesn't sit so tight with the guitars. You could try to work it out on your fretless. It might give you a new perspective on the rhythmic interplay. That's something I quite enjoy doing, even if I have no intention of using a bass guitar on a track itself.
The guitars sound pretty good to me. I really like what I've heard of Shreddage 2 so far. Some of the leads in the audiosupernova demos over at KVR have had me drooling. Does it install a standard version of Kontakt Player for you? Maybe you can see where I'm going with thisComment

I'm definitely not going to absolute realism here with the guitars. I just wanted something with a guitar tone. ;)
I do love Shreddage II, though. Yes, it works in the standard Kontakt 5 Player free version.Comment

If you ever wanted a version with vocals i'd be happy to help out, i was the drummer and vocalist in a death metal band for 6 years. i love the guitar tone, nice scott burns vibeComment
-
I prefer instrumentals for my own music, but if you have the capability of recording drums, I'm all for a little help there!
Thanks for your comment on tone. It's almost what I imagine in my head.Comment

i do have the access to record live drums, though i havent done many blast beats in the last couple years. Burns is like the God of death metal, i love every album he didComment

Since I listened to anything new.
I've only started listening to new music on SoundCloud and other member music here and on KVR since about 2009.
Music started going downhill for me in the '90s all around, I lost touch with my band, got married, and lived a sheltered life (partly by choice).
I'm only starting to re-discover what's out there.
I'd love to do a colab, but I'm a pretty slow worker. I have plenty of ideas, but I procrastinate.Comment
