  • Spam Time!

Yeah, I am truly sorry... I hate spamming stuff, especially as I am struggling to catch up with everything my friends are up to here at AO.

Much of my spare time is spent learning about my modules. The current "work project" is taking up much more time than I expected and so spare time isn't anywhere near as much as it was when I was working part time.

Anyway, I wanted to shout out about my latest modular live session, which was actually a live stream to YouTube, so the video version is exactly what came out of the modular and into my DAW. The SoundCloud version was cut short by a couple of minutes and I also did some very minor tweaks to levels.

I will warn you now, this goes on and on, for a bit, as there is no one to tell me to stop.

I had problems with Mutable Instruments Elements, again, which can be driven to the point of digital distortion... All part of the learning curve I suppose...

Funny thing is, if this were me practising guitar I wouldn't even consider uploading to the world wide web, and what you will hear isn't much better than a practise session. I just can't help it...

    cheers

    and thanks

A very enjoyable session of 'gooey' modular goodness!

Was wondering if maybe some time you might like to work on a collaboration?

Thank you Avery, and thanks for listening to my modular stuff

A collaboration would be a fantastic idea

Not sure when I will be "available!"

Sounds a bit funny that, but it is true, I'm afraid.

Six months ago I was happy working 20 hours a week at home but someone persuaded me to get a proper job. Last week's timesheet was for 60 hours... Great for the money, but I'm sure we'd all agree that it's not all about the money, but I don't want to let my current gaffer down.

I'm off on a holiday for the first two weeks in July so what ever happens now I won't be able to do anything by way of a collaboration before then.

I know I am not as active here as I have been over the last couple of years, but I do still call in regular, so I'll give you a shout when I get back home and settle back into things...

          cheers
