[Sky High Diamonds]

“We shout up at the stars and light bigger torches as the darkness cloaks in. I wrap you in skins and furs; we burn all of the dead flesh and then sing over the bones.”

A creative exploration with hardware and the voice to create loud and rhythmic music built around incantation, prayer and chant. It most definitely strays from my more experimental ambient beginnings but I still wanted to share here because of that progression.

Intriguing, intoxicating pieces- wildly unique, and therefore hypnotic and greatly interesting. 'Godface' puts me in mind of Kate Bush for some reason.. it seems like a Wiccan ritual in the Golden Dawn.. I think one of my favorite tracks is 'Silver Thread'.. Have you ever heard 'Ommadawn' by Mike Oldfield? Some of this track puts me in mind of that.

Thank you, wildly unique is one of my key aims with music creation, for me it's important to be original and have a whole heap of dancing fun and shenanigans to get there! I have not heard Omnadawn although I am surprised I can't recall it as he is definitely an influential artist from my era. Thank you for listening and for the feedback, appreciated!

Sky High Diamonds Greatly enjoyed the video. It had my toe tapping involuntarily. Very strongly beat-based, but in a tribalistic kind of way. Gives me a 'celtic' feeling. More please!
