Perhaps a space to collect all kinds of things ambient would be a cool idea. I am thinking about articles, perhaps podcasts and so on. If everybody contributes we could come up with a resource, a link-list, or a catalogue so to speak. Certainly, there's all kinds of ways something like that could be implemented. For the time being, we could collect in this thread. As you said, nothing too special, but a good read. I see he has discovered the Buddha Machine. Now available in juicy day-glo colors! These can be an awful lot of fun especially if you get three or four of them. For a while they were kind of hard to get a hold of. There are some "ambient" Apps for iPad as well...

That's a pretty good article! Some stuff I knew, some stuff I had kind of forgotten, and also a lot of things to think about.

Not sure I like the part about using reverb sparingly! Seriously... just kidding about that.

This one is more ephemeral and takes a more Zen like approach but is equally cool. Talking more about the bigger picture. Sort of the Macro to the other article's Micro. Some very good points in here as well!

That's essentially what I was trying to create with the link lists on the menu at the top of the page, but as has been pointed out to me, many people don't really look at the links in that format, so I'm thinking I may reformat into something a little more user-friendly and perhaps a little more obvious.

Thanks for pointing those out! I'll go through the lists and see if there's anything useful in them anymore. I'm sure a lot of those sites are dead and gone by now. :(
