uploading a track now to SoundCloud site -- will send my email shortly. Also looking forward to hearing the collection when it's released.
the earlier compilations have been incredible -- thanks!

It has taken me a while to decide if I'll participate in this one, but now I think I can say I'm in. My music production rate has slowed down this year, but I've made some sounds on my synthesizer which I am really pleased with, and I plan to submit a single-take semi-improvised piece using those sounds, including real-time editing as I play. Will probably record several attempts and submit the one I like the most. This is quite different to how I usually work on a track as of late, but I want to get better at handling and manipulating sounds in real-time for a potential live thing I might do. Bloody exciting, don't you think?

Yes, it is different, no automation curves, no re-arranging of parts, no removing of notes in the piano roll. But it is fun. I did it twice, and I will do it again.

I was really nervous at the first time, it went far better at the second time.

If you make a mistake: you have to live with it. It is likely, that no one excpet for you will notice that, becaus no one knows, what you planned to to. Or: repeat the mistake, after 3 times, the audience will think, that this is exactly what you wanted!

If possible: try to capture it and share the video!

Aha, well a live show from me is likely still far from now. It will take a lot of preparation, background visuals as well as the sounds. If I do get round to something though, I most definitely share it on here.
I've got two improv takes done now, will attempt a third today. Might even film myself doing that.

I played live twice, with a small audience - but that was not a full 45 minutes show with visuals and all those things. But who knows... may be I'll do that too some day in the future...

I've now made 4 different 1-take semi-improvs, all using and editing the same starting sound, and the one I did today I really like the sound of, which I also filmed the playing of on my camera. But I wonder if I can improve...
Exciting things happening over here, folks.

Slight note: most of my improvs went for a little longer than 12 minutes (most are around 13); sometimes difficult to monitor the time accurately and bring the song to a nice ending. I know you (S1gns) imposed a 12 minute limit on the tracks, but is 1 minute over OK?

Mine are (much!) shorter than usual, so you can have a few minutes of my time if management approves...

"(leaving headroom between -3dB and -9dB)"

Not sure what that really means, but I got one track ready & mixed, sits at around -18 LUFS with a handful of peaks at -5/6dB, can you work with this? It's somewhat dynamic and wouldn't want to squash the peaks more if I can avoid it.
