Thanks for reminding everyone. We're getting close to the end of the road here. Things are looking good however... I won't disclose numbers but I'll tell you right now, it's going to be an EPIC release.

      Get those submissions in!

How do we have to deliver the song?

Should it be mastered or only mixed with headroom? I have almost finished something especially for this compilation.

Send me a message and I'll get you in to the dropbox folder. From there, you can submit.

A bit of headroom for mastering would be nice.

          Thanks Manducator!

Ah, then I'll render the project without Maximizer and on -3 Db.

That's right. Only rendered bounced tracks were exchanged between us.
Indeed, Robojam and I work the same way.
Yep. I don't even know which DAW Joe uses to be honest...

I sent out a private message to those who contacted me who haven't submitted yet.

To those who are still interested, we are still taking submissions. This is your chance to be on the first ever Ambient Online Compilation Album and help raise money for the site!

Here are the people who have submitted so far. If your name is not on the list and you have submitted, please contact me!

                    Mostly Reaper, at the moment.

Does anyone know how much it costs to do physical releases of an album? Just a thought, but an actual CD version of the AO comp might be nice but possibly not within the budget of a few poor musicians

You pay around 900 euro's per set (with Jewel case) for 1000 cd's. Or, for 500 cd's with PP sleeve it is around 360 euro's. Here in Holland.

You can't get a better deal than Music Kickup has to offer - check it out. AND you can publish your music into all the main digital distribution services as well (iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Deezer etc.) -> FOR FREE WITH EVERY SINGLE CENT OF ROYALTIES POURING STRAIGHT BACK TO YOU :D.

It's still in the first public beta-phase, so I'll be writing a more lengthy post after the hard launch in October. But the service is well operational already, with a free sign up. It is really amazing and revolutionary, period.

Yuroun in FL, and my tracks were cut in Reaper, several bounced over to PT for some final tweaking. I still can't effectively use automation in Reaper...
