  • AO Compilation Album Volume 1: Cover Art Contest!

After receiving multiple entries for our soon-to-be-released "Ambient Online Compilation: Volume 1" album, I thought I would leave it up to you, the users, to decide on the cover art for our first ever release!

You can only vote once and I've purposely left each image without text of any kind to avoid distraction with fonts. I want YOU to decide which image you like the best!

    Here are our two entries:

Entry #1 comes from Manos F. from the Deprofundis Netlabel:

Entry #2 comes from the one and only Utu Lautturi:

Voting begins now! We will decide a winner within the next 2 days.

Cheers and thanks to Utu and Manos,
    -S1gns

Tough choice - they're both great images and nicely atmospheric

If it were a physical release I'd say that one could be the front and one could be the back. ;)

      Tough choice!

They're both cool, but I absolutely love the first one. That's the kind of thing I'd use as a cover for my own material even.

Yup, tough choice. I like the visceral and textural appeal of the first one and the abstract clarity and depth of the second. I voted, but I'd be happy with either one (or a combination?).

Now you all see why I created a poll in the first place! :whiteflag::biggrin:

I'm going to leave this up for another day...and hopefully by then we'll have decided a winner.

Maybe I should have added a third option called "tough choice" ??? :rotf:

                Cheers,

Don't know if this is any use but if it goes even, I vote we choose Manos's piece. I've got plenty of use for my image in any case and Manos's work is top class . Thanks for all the voters!

I like 'em both, but I think Manos' image just edges it.

I hope you've already decided upon the name of the album. We still haven't named the podcast :D

Damn, both are great, tough choice, but I voted for Manos. Gut feeling.

:p Could just call it what it is for now I guess, I don't know. Then add a subtitle for each subsequent volume, sort of like the TV show American Horror Story does each season. Like AO compilation Vol. I, then AO compilation Vol. II: Blah Blah, then AO compilation Vol. III: Whatever, etc., etc. Plus those following volumes could then be "themed" perhaps. Just an idea, of course.
