I saw this a few months ago. It looks like a fun piece of kit, but I think I'll pass. I'm still very happy with my RedTron VSTis and SampleTron.
My next track features no 'tron at all  I opted for a different solution and used Miroslav Philharmonik on a piece of heavily reverbed ambient techno.
At the Ambient Music Conference in 2014, Massergy was playing a Mellotron M4000D. If I decide to go for any hardware, that would probably be my choice. Expensive, but it's the real deal.
I didn't know these boxes existed, quite surprised by how well they seem to just work. I guess I'm coming from the days of guitar synths with hex pickups etc etc so surprised this tech even existed. The organ demo vid is pretty amazing, the runs the guy manages (I guess it helps that he can *really* play )
