I have been predominantly working with stereo sounds when creating drones, sounds, etc... Sometimes I will break a stereo track into two mono tracks to work with them individually. I'm curious to know if you are using stereo, mono or both, and in what ways.

Working With Stereo Versus Mono

I use both, but I work entirely in hardware so for me it depends on the particular synth module I am using. Some of them are mono outputs only. To be honest, apart from doing something specifically with like a pingpong delay I have never really come across much where I felt that the mono was in any way a hindrance to the sound I wanted to achieve.Dynamic Interplay Music-------Soundcloud-------Personal Website-------Personal Blog -

some pads or echo-reverb-panning-include tracks sound better in stereo. But a lot of stereo tracks may transform you song into the mud pool.
not for ambient music, but on some gigs I convert tracks to mono for better hearing in mix with live instrumentsComment
