You need to use a screen capture program while using the MilkDrop vis, or as I've sometimes done, point a video cam at your monitor and capture it that way, then import the video into Vegas.. BTW, it's not Vegas Pro anymore, Magix bought it from Sony, so now it's just called Vegas (unless you're planning on using an old version).Comment

This is Isotonik (M4L reactive visualizations) produced within Live.
On a Mac - I record the video stream and audio stream, using Soundflower, through Syphon Recorder and then export.
This is my first video test, iteration 1 was just the music.
There were a few mixing glitches not purposeful, but that is what iterations are for.
Resolution is way down (720X480) as I have an older Macbook and it can only handle so much happening at the same time.
Live 2017 09 13 at 18 47 51 Converted. Iteration 2, probably several more.👍 2Comment

I have used milkdrop for the visualizations in this months mix show. Lots of potential with this tool. Must learn how to make my own presets but am happy there are so many presets available

I don't have time for the full video Lorn , so I skipped through and I have to say there are some great variations in graphical animations... Nice one>]:| ~ > Bandcamp < ~ |:| ~ > SoundCloud < ~ |:| ~ > YouTube < ~ |:[<Comment

Adobe After Effects is an excellent package, for sure, but it is far too expensive for the amount of times I would use it. And you cannot buy the software outright any more so you have to subscribe to the Adobe Creative Cloud.
I am wondering, is there an alternative to After Effects?
My current video editing software is okay for bringing video clips together, applying filters and adding titles, but doesn't even come close to After Effects...>]:| ~ > Bandcamp < ~ |:| ~ > SoundCloud < ~ |:| ~ > YouTube < ~ |:[<Comment
