One Sample Dare #8

sorry again fer takin so long. i wuz hopin to git my 11 yr old lab's heartbeat but none of my mic's r good enuff so i have his breathing pattern here fer y'all since his lot doesn't seem to live past 12 and he really means alot to me so im hopin ya'll wont mind helpin me immortalize him...also if ya'll could make these downloadable so i can save them it would mean alot to me...


Rules are:

1. Additional samples, soundfonts, synths, samplers are NOT permitted (except instruments which will use only given contest sample loaded). Any other processing of contest sample is permitted.

2. You can use as many copies of original sample as you want, each processed with respect to Rule 1.

3. Time for submissions is two weeks.

4. Submissions should be uploaded to place available for all AO members. Links should be posted in thread dedicated to given round.
Please, do not use hosting with countdown, CAPTCHA and other obstacles.

5. Winner of contest is chosen by votes of AO members.

6. Winner of contest chooses sample for next contest.

7. Winner SHOULD disclose the formula for winning track for the benefit of community.

The two clicks around the centre of the sample were used to form a rhythm track. A couple of individual breaths were stretched and pitchshifted numerous times, with varying degrees of delay, reverb and distortion added. Some were looped, others layered to form two drone tracks. Hope you folks like the results.

So when does the contest entry period end? I've been traveling the last couple of weeks and hadn't had a chance to work on this. I thought it ended yesterday, so didn't work on it this weekend. I don't mind if it goes over a few days - the more entries the better - but would just like to know when it ends so I can plan accordingly. I'm leaving on travel again this evening, so won't enter this one anyway, but would like to know for future contests.

On a more positive note, I am really impressed by what everyone has done with just a few bits of white noise - very impressive.
