And for those interested in the source image here's the other side:



It's what's left of the old church at St Helens on the Isle of Wight. It's a 13th century church that had pretty much fallen away (people stealing stones etc) by the 1700s. So they bricked up the sea facing side and painted it white making it a seamark (it's on a busy shipping route into the ports of Portsmouth and Southampton). Davedorgan is right about it facing a body of water, though not on a hill, the white brickwork is literally on the beach.

Well hey .. how cool is that Thanks for the listens everyone, and thanks Gary for putting up the Dare. I'm on the lookout for a new image and will post a new challenge as soon as it is found.
