SPEAR, FLStudio sampler + granulizer + slicer, Sound Forge. Dubstation, Maul, Permut8, Pianoverb, Sonitex STX-1260, Transverb, Uhbik-A, Uhbik-F, Uhbik-Q.

This time I did a lot less pre-processing of samples and a lot more parameter automation in FLStudio and post-processing.

Very much a headphones sort of track. Listening to it on my monitors, I'm missing a lot due to the heavy rain going on here right now.

This was made using a loop taken from a end that was very quiet, but had an almost digital squeak, and then taking each main gurgle, and stretching it out and then treating it like a pad swell. Lots of reverb and delay, and bending/filtering bands of pitches.

                "Intuandurom"

Ambience, Ambitron, Audiobulb Ambient, GlaceVerb, Iris, PanCake2, PaulStretch, ValhallaShimmer.

Whole fridge sample was loaded to Ambitron, Audiobulb Ambient and Iris, and relevant patches were
created. Those patched were used to record few segments of final track.
Selected sample fragment was loaded to PaulStretch to create one long bottom layer.
Ambience, GlaceVerb, PanCake2 and ValhallaShimmer were used for effects.

                  Alien Nightshift

Well, this is what I came up with and it certainly was fun trying to do something with the original sample. It's called "Alien Nightshift" and I didn't expect it to turn out to be a "musical" track when I started it..though I did try to inject a sense of rhythm, which I think does come across.

                  https://soundcloud.com/ambient-mechanics/alien-nightshift

The process I followed for this is as follows..

                  1) Edited sample in Audacity.

                  2) Took a small sample from the original to work with and put that through PaulStretch and layered into a 4 track drone in DAW, each track being routed to a Sub Mix bus..as per S1gn's recent video tutorial posted on here.

                  3) Took another small sample from the original and put that through Alchemy.

                  4) Took another small sample from the original and ran it through PadShop Pro.

                  5) Took one more sample and ran that also through PadShop Pro.

                  6) In the DAW I used BlueCat Audio's Triple EQ (Stereo), Voxengo Stereo Touch, ToneBoosters HumRemover, with Melda's MCompressor and Poor PLate reverb applied on the Master bus.

                    processed as follows

                    sample 1 put through paulstretch
                    sample 2 long analogue delay
sample 3 phaser and light distortion
sample 4 reversed in audacity then long repeater delay added

i was imagining this was how everything sounded to my son before he was born

'Melody': Small section loaded into Reapers Samplematic5000, filtered, delayed, 'verbed. Notes generated algorithmically...
'Rhythm': 'nuther section loaded to XFadelooperCM then eq'd to death and royally, um, messed with by Ronin. Stereo movement attempted by off-phase bkModfilters (recommended).
                      'Pad': stretched bit 'verbed.
