  • New Track "Casey Jones" dictaphone recording/modular

Made this droney tune on an overcast day with my modular and some dictaphone field recordings.

Sort of an orphan track right now since I have two full lengths coming out later this month.

Lovely fragile sounds, very atmospheric and certainly creates moods of nostalgia and fading memories... For some reason it made me think of "The Great Outdoors" by Depeche Mode.

Damn. What a compliment; DM is by far my favorite synth act. Absolutely fell in love with them as a kid and am fortunate to say they were my first live band experience back on their singles tour in 98.

I always found their b-sides so fascinatingly different than album material.

                Thank you so much!!

You´re welcome. Your piece actually made me go through some old DM instrumentals now (fan since 87-ish), I agree, lot´s of weird and interesting stuff on their B-sides.
The Great Outdoors! being one of my favorites. I also seem to enjoy Martins songs and weirder stuff a lot.

I agree with the others, beautiful and melancholy. Nice work...
