I have more time on my hands as I'm looking for new employment after being with a company for 11 years. It was not unexpected and so far I'm optimistic about the opportunity to do new things. Trying not to spend too much time in my studio.

First of all, sorry about losing your job! Even thought you knew it was coming, it's still difficult to go through any transition. So kudos to you for having a positive attitude.

That being said, glad you have more time to work in the studio and make pieces like this! Are you still working entirely on your iPad and the miniBrute? Either way...excellent start to a track!

Thanks Chris. No choice but to be positive. I am still using the iPad as the centre of my studio. I do all of my recording on the iPad and use many synth, rhythm and effects apps. I have added a Mopho and a DX 7 as well. I also bought a Thingamagoop 2 (not sure why) and sometimes use the CV out to modulate the MiniBrute. For some recent tracks, I have used MIDI sequencers on the iPad to trigger the hardware synths and have been getting good results. Part of my goal is to work up a live show with just me and my machines.

Re: Live - I am still playing in my band but have stripped down my gear to just the MiniBrute (now that I really know how to get great sounds from it) and a delay pedal from the initial set-up of the iPad & MB, then the Mopho & MB to just the MiniBrute and a delay pedal.
