  • S1gnsOfL1fe - "Celestial Transmissions (Interlude I)"

I'm working on interludes for the new album...here's my latest!!!

As I stated in another thread...I found the process of creating an interlude totally enjoyable (and challenging) for the simple fact that it forced me to think differently about the way I was working. I've been in full on "track mode" so much lately that I had to scale it back and think about creating a 3 minute vignette instead of a full production.

    Hope you like it!!! Cheers!!!!!!

This would work perfectly as an interlude.

Soft and subtle and beautiful. Great work!

Lovely chilled vibes. This was great late-night listening chez seismic. Great pads again.

Great! I love the way the pads build tension and the delayed melodic sounds kind of nibble away at the tension.

Thank you so much!!!!! Every track I do is an experiment filled adventure...this one was no exception. Those "delayed melodic sounds" were actually recorded at two different tempos...which is why they sound they way they do!

As far as the pads building tension...that's a first!!! I like the concept though...I think I'll run with it! :tu:

            Cheers Ho66it!!!!

Many thanks!!! Most of my music comes from this meditative place...between soul and creation. Hard to describe but hopefully it comes out in the track! Cheers!!!

Hopefully this isn't something that breaks the mood for you or something, but this reminded me of the kind of thing that would be really cool to listen to when...um...chemically enhanced...

I don't do that anymore, but this is very cool stuff with a slightly trippy edge

Not at all robo!!!!!!!!! Honestly, one of my main goals with my music is to be able to transport the listener to another world within each track. I want you to "experience" the song the same way you would if you were...yes, in an altered state of consciousness.

Neither do I anymore but I've still got my memories of the way music made you feel...how intense those sensations were...and I try and recreate something like that.

                    Cheers!!!!

Great production as always, full of whispery floaty goodness. The main bed and soft lead would've made Rick Wright smile!
