Especially liked the 2:34 mark with the essences of distant guitar. Quite beautiful. Very heavy and sweeping. It resembles an upheaval. Lots of uprooting and shifting of the earth. Perhaps the death of the dinos. In terms of my synaesthesia, the distorted guitars introduce colours that are not in keeping with the whole piece, makes it a little jarring. That is not bad though. This is music to be experienced, not simply enjoyed.

thanks Rikkisho that's a great description - interesting about your synaesthesia - do you get more or less the same colours every time you listen to something or do they change a fair bit?

The synaesthetic experience will remain the same for each instrument, sound and song. It's like each sound and song had its own "imprint".

That's what I would have thought - your perception is consistent in the same way my (non-synaesthetic) perception is - but I've never asked anyone before. Reminds me of my sister who was 12 when she found out it wasn't normal to see double every time you looked to the side. For her that was normal vision so she'd never commented on it. I thought it was amazing that she'd be having this very different interior experience but no-one else could notice that she was.

probably, but it is too long ago for me to remember it - and in those days the specialists probably didn't tell you anyway, not like now where they go into excruciating detail. But it was just some muscle problem that they operated on and fixed
