I have too much time on my hands between emailing resumes and taking phone calls, so I am here to inflict on you...

The original recording (4 channel surround) was of me walking from one bus stop to the other, across a parking lot and across a crosswalk, at 5:45AM in the morning a few weeks ago, with the trees PACKED with birds! Grackles, sparrows, mockingbirds.. literally HUNDREDS of the chrpy things! What sounds like alien speech is the voice of a special crossing light, it tells yu "Wait to cross Rundberg" in the smarmiest robot tone.. it found a use.
HOW I DID IT (in case anyone is curious)
Tracktion 5.3, my go-to DAW for audio abuse.
TRACK 1: Mid-side stereo recording, shifted down an octave, reversed, run through Voxengo Polysquasher with a send to Track 5.
TRACK 2: XY stereo recording, left as-is, run through Valhalla UberMod with a send to Track 5.
TRACK 3: XY stereo recording, shifted down an octave, into CamelSpace.
TRACK 4: XY stereo recording, reversed and pitch-shifted down an octave, into Zebrify.
TRACK 5: What I call my "Mr. Self Destruct" track! Effects return running AD Dr.Device into Filterstation. Twist and shout!
TRACK 6: XY stereo recording, into Voxengo Voxformer and Melda Production MMultibandAutoPan.
MAIN BUS: Tone2 Akustix, into MMultibandGranular, into NF MAGNETIC II.
