100% shortwave sample based album released by Petroglyph Music

I'm truly honoured that Petroglyph Music has just released my new album. Similar in concept to my previous album IDDQD=GOD https://dnpdarkness.bandcamp.com/album/iddqd-god
where all source audio were samples taken from the original version of the game ‘Doom’.*
‘Transmissions In Extremis’ https://archive.org/details/petrogly...ns_in_extremis uses only samples of shortwave transmissions/static/noise as its source sounds. The results I hope are eerie and unsettling....and I hope more people than just me like it.

Really enjoyed all of those, thanks.
I especially liked 4 & 5...but they are all very imaginative.
Some made me feel I was tuned in to a ghostly frequency from the sunken Titanic.
Well handled and produced...sounded good on my hi-fi system.

great stuff. Shortwave has always fascinated me, especially the random nature of what you can find. Find it quite relaxing too, must be that white noise.

Did this as an experiment last year https://maximummovementtheatre.bandc...hortwaves-2014 Recorded live with some 'dial' twiddling to see what comes up.
