New album

A new album! This was recorded over the last two weeks whilst on holiday in Cornwall. I took a field recording of various places visited and then used only that field recording to create a track for each place. No other VSTs or instruments were used.

Just a quick listen this morning over breakfast. But I like what I have heard so far. Looking forward to some deep listening tonight. I must admit that I like the idea of only using field recordings.

Thanks :-) The limitation of just using one sound/field recording can be quite liberating, making you think harder about how you process sounds rather than going for the usual quick (and lazy) ways which I often do. Also gets you more familiar with all the different things the DAW does.

I have had a good listen and think it is a brilliant piece of work. Really enjoyed every second of it. Superb use of silence and sounds with a beautiful haunting presence and atmosphere. Fabulous work Ian.
