  • Waiting for Something

My first Ambient cd released earlier this year on Run On Recordings. They released Nature 2 under my DeepWarmth name, and then I shared with the label owner some tracks I had, and he worked with me on a tracklist. The shorter pieces of music (Under 5mins) were composed for the video game Knytt Underground, but not used, and the rest was stuff I was working on towards an album. Smooth Dronescapes and slower Ambient on this. Hope you enjoy it. https://runonrecordings.bandcamp.com...-for-something

A very nice collection of relaxing drone pieces. I listened on your Bandcamp page and noticed that each track cuts off suddenly which kind of destroys the mood of the piece - I'm not sure if that's intentional or an artefact of Bandcamp's audio file processing. Anyway, thanks very much for sharing!

They cut off suddenly because in the game's engine (the short pieces) there is a lot of crossfading of the way the engine works. Plus all things need to work at the same time. I was given a testing program to test my tracks I made for the game. So I was told no crossfading was allowed as the engine itself does that.

I'm listening to Lakeside in Caves. A nice lush collection of sounds here and I like this.

As for the full album, I have to be honest and say I just don't have the time to listen to each and every track, some of which are ten to fifteen minutes long. Not a problem normally, but there is so much more stuff to get up to date with here.

          sorry...

          Nice release though :D

          cheers

At least you listened to something from it. An honor that people even listen to it!
