  • Trinxat "To Fall, To Keep"

Hi, this is my new piece. I wanted to keep it simple and meaningful so it took me a lot of time and effort to decide which layers of sounds to keep and which ones to dismiss. That one came from a nightmare I had one day, so I won't be explaining too much the meaning of it. I hope you like it!

    Cheers!

Echoing what I wrote on SoundCloud just now, this track is absolutely gorgeous. Such a deep sense of space and atmosphere...love that piano against that synth, so wonderful. Really nice stuff!!!

      Cheers!!

Very nice track, Trinxat. I liked the ambient atmosphere and the pulsing heartbeat-like rhythm. the piano melodies were great, and created a nice melancholy vibe. I enjoyed this

Hi seismic1, I've already answered on soundcloud, but I would like to give a thanks here too. Sometimes I don't know if people wouldn't like me to put my music in here, because it's not drone or soundscape kind of music but at the same time I think it gives some contrast to ambient online members music and that's why I appreciate a lot your comments and words! :listening: Cheers!

I love genres I think they are put out there for us to abuse. Normally, I don't make "ambient" music, but occasionally, a track that I make might fall within my definition of it. I made my first drone this week. I then started building on it. It was all going so well, and then I decided to add some beats. I love µTonic

We're pretty open with our definition of "Ambient" here, and this, to my mind, certainly falls in that category. Never be ashamed to put your music here.

To this piece: so emotive! It really sounds as if it came from a dark place in your mind, but at the same time it's very beautiful.

                    Thank you for sharing!

Wow! I really enjoyed this piece, Trinxat - definitely worth posting here!! I always (well, mostly) love the use of piano in ambient music, I think they are a great fit for each other. Let us know when you upload something else

                          Hi Retnuh!

Thanks a lot for your words! Yeah, I really don't know why but I'm using piano on my songs more and more. Even I'm not able to play it very well, I find that it is so pure musically speaking and that feelings can translate very well. So, very nice that this is your first forum experience, a good one for sure! Cheers!

I'm usually not that into piano pieces, but I like the off-beat placing of the notes, not ocnventional at all. And the overall dark mood and weird feeling make it an interesting track.

Re the forum, yeah, there's good people here :D
