This sets a great mood from the start; very cinematic. Great balance between slowly evolving sounds and rapid surpising 'flashes'.

Thanks. Glad you liked it. Most of the layers were down in one take and were definitely on the sinister side, but I softened it a bit in the final mix.

This is great, man. A trip through an unknown land. Vast an deserted. Awesome!
Some tracks suggest a scenery, and this is one of them.
Love the sounds too, and the simplicity of the arrangement.

For me it invokes a sort of Innerspace feeling (not the movie, but the concept of being deep inside a human body inside a tiny sub).

Thanks Dax. I'm really awed at all the positive feedback. This one just came together. I bought a used Axiom 25 controller a couple of months ago and finally got a power supply so I could use it with my Iodock and was experimenting with the pads and keys and this track came out of that experimentation. Now, all I have to do is figure out how to program the sucker. I'm on the edge of giving up and the manual sucks. On a positive note, this has influenced my decision to spring for a hardware synthesizer and I'm leaning towards the Arturia Minibrute (no menus at all) but have not pulled the trigger yet.

Thanks. Funny to reread the thread. I've sold the Axiom and bought the Minibrute. New sounds ahoy!
