This is a great piece of work, guys. The track sequencing worked really well, too

i can say this has been a very needed experience for me i can't thank aoVI / ontol enough for all the hard work and inspiration that went into this.
also thank you all for the kind words! this project for me shot up like a weed and grew into a tree with many branches that will be explored with some luck each branch will become stronger then the last
once again thank you all

"Along the Bayou" was the fav for the both of us too.
When putting the album together, it was almost the first track, but instead ended up being the centerpiece.
The tracks are ordered in a sort of symmetrical way; 1/5 being more diffuse, softer. 2/4 have voice samples and are a bit more grainy, darker. 3, Bayou, being the center.
Thank you all for checking it out and for the generous reviews.Last edited by aoVI; 08-09-2016, 03:51 PM.

Debut album! Magnesson / ontol collaboration
Magnesson and I are pleased to announce the release of our first collaborative work, "Magnesson / ontol" now available on our bandcamp site.
The project has been a lot of fun, and we plan to release several more collaborative albums over time.
It is basically guitar-based landscape ambient, with a taste of found sounds, looping, and a proper dousing of reverb.
The cover is a photo composition by Magnesson; he's a multi-talented artist.
The album is posted as "Name your price" but as always; please feel absolutely comfortable entering "0" as the amount for a free download.
We made this album because we had to, it was in our bones. All we are hoping for in return is for someone to hear it.
