  • Cosmic F - Mountains so high EP (Drone)

Hello friends of endless sustain and soothing drones. I just released my first 3 track ep on Bandcamp

    Hi Cosmic-F

I was going to listen to these and leave a comment, but I've been busy with some of my own stuff and I didn't want to just listen to five minutes and say "hey! nice work!" I hate that sort of thing and if someone spends time creating a long form piece, the least I can do is listen to it from beginning to end.

So I will have to put some serious time aside tomorrow for this task. I hope you don't mind

    cheers

I managed to listen to all three this morning while slaving over a hot laptop.

Lhotse was a challenge for me because I expect a bit more "movement" than I perceived here. I know there was a change, but it was so subtle that it was barely noticeable. This is no criticism and is more of my inexperience with long, albeit lush, subtly changing drones.

Out of the three, Makalu was my favourite

      cheers

        Hi andy,
Listening with full attention is indeed a challenge on this one, but with the purpose of leaving the changes up to your own mind. Maybe they are no changes in that track ;)
thanks for listening and taking the time for feedback!

That's an amazing start if this your first ep. I like all the tracks, but Kanchenjunga is my favorite.

I created some videos for the tracks as well. Recorded the footage in Berlin and Myanmar
