Hey ladies and gentlemen.
I have been doing alot of shit not related to my main ambient project IOK-1.
The first is dB/Mz.
It's a collaborative project with a friend of mine, Magnus. More commonly known as Manifesto.
We released our first album over at Silken Tofu just over a year ago.
We see the project as some hybrid of death industrial, drone, dark ambient with a hint of power electronics.
You can listen to the album here and purchase it from here.
Give it a listen and tell me what you think!
Also, Heathen Harvest gave us a great review! You'll find it here.
We have recently finished our second album and is currently waiting for an answer from a label that wanted to listen to it.
I'll piss my pants if they want to release it because the label is one of my favorite labels in the field of more ambient sounding music.
Now to my other project, Dödsapparaten.
It spawned out of the dB/Mz project. I wanted to explore the more gritty and ferocious side of ambient music without going too much into the noise territory.
I call it death ambient.
The project as of now has two releases and they are both on a label that rarely releases anything but tapes and harsh noise.
You all know the punk DIY attitude of noise labels. I love that.
You can hear both releases here and here.
The labels tapes are both sold out.
But I have some collecting dust here so if you want one for yourself and your grand mother. Give me a shout will you!
Anyways, thanks for your time and sorry for a wall of text post.
Take care now!
