I like evolving background textures in first 1/3 of track, concluding with voice samples.
Then rhytmic keys and bass start, moving composition to realm of classical electronica.
This part evolves in interesting way - pads slide beneath surface of rhytmic elements.
Personally I have taste for non-rhytmic, evolving multilayered sound structures,
but "Polar Sky" works fine for me, because it show harmony of flow and rhytm.
Hi! Just listened to your track, gotta love the subtle melodic part that comes in about 0:55, the overall variety is splendid. It shows that you enjoyed making those sounds and composing them together. My only gripe is... why so short? An extract? Do you mean that's not the whole song? I'd love to experience it more. Thanks for this one!
I thought that was very impressive - it's elegant and sleek, some intricate programming in there. may I ask which synths you used...I thought I had read 'omnisphere' somewhere, but now i can't find that again. great listen!
Amazing. Reiterating what I just wrote in my comment on SoundCloud, this is a stunning piece of music. I seriously want to make music like this. And I'm trying to! It's really good man. Love the style, the progression, the drums, the subtle qualities. Everything about it. Awesome stuff.
Question for you, love that vocal sample of someone talking. Did you create that or get it somewhere?
Thanks very much for the comments I really appreciate the feedback.
@UnstaticNoise and @narapela: Thanks for your comments - its actually from a longer piece, which I hadn't finished, I was looking for some feedback to see if I was going in the right direction. The complete piece is about 9 minutes, and I'm close to completing it. Will put it up on Soundcloud shortly.
@phoenstorm: Thanks for the nice feedback. I think I mentioned Omnisphere re another track you had listened to on Soundcoud. But, in this case, Omnisphere is the main soft synth along with Zebra, and there are also some NI sounds from Komplete 8 in there too.
@S1gnsOfL1fe: Hey S1gns, thank you for the really encouraging comments. Made my day that ... Re the vocal sample: that I got from a news article on the internet - interview with some guy, his voice sounded so melancholic I recorded it, reversed it, added a few effects from Guitar Rig, and it seemed to fit right in.
Really nice track..enjoyed it a lot and left feedback / comments over on SC. I can't really add to what's been said here already..simply loved it. Kudos, my friend. :D
