  • Releasing my first EP

    Hey everybody.

Thought it was time for me to try to put together an EP for release.
This is my first attemt to put music out on my own, and I'm pretty excited about that.
The EP will contain tracks that have been published on my Soundcloudpage, so most of you will probably have heard them.
Its now out for preorder, and the track Manila Vanilla vill be up for download after you order.
    Releasedate are set to 01.05.2013.

I want to tell you a bit of what lays behind this record, as the former post was a little short and said nothing other than an EP will be published 01.05.2013.
As the title say, Fracture, it reflects to that not all periods in our lifes is great. Things go wrong, you can make bad choices, and you can end up with a fractured life.
I myself was for a long time addicted to drugs. When I finally got my head together 14 years ago, I had to pick up the bits and pieces that was left of my life. It was hard work to put them back together.
But I had decided that my addictive days was over, and stud the run. Music has helped me a great deal in this prosess, and I know other people can get something out of my music.
This is a little backstory on how I started to make music, and I hope you dont see this as a way to get money out of people. I use quite some hours to get this to a finnished product

I havent really decided on setting a fixed price 5 dollar or more if you want to pay more, or setting it free to pay what you want. What do you who have releases out on Bandcamp recomend

      Hi Northstar,

$5.00 is perfect. I saw when you first put it up it was higher, but I'm glad you decided on that price. People will pay more for it, but you have to set a price of entry. Anything more than that as a base price and people might be hesitant to buy it on impulse.

I really like that you've provided some backstory about the album as well. I truly enjoy your music, love having you on the podcast, and wish you nothing but more success in the future.

      Cheers my friend,

        Thanks for the reply S1gns.

The initial price was set in norwegian kroner, I think 49 Nkr, that is 8.3 dollar. I changed this pretty quick, as I felt the 5 dollar mark was the highest for this release.
As I said in the last reply, I use alot of hours on this, and it will be fun to see if people think its worht paying a small sum for the music
Thanks for the support S1gns, I hope you dont mind I put Branches in the sky as an album I recomend.

        Cheers

I really liked your music I've heard on SoundCloud. This album will definitely go in my collection, and is well worth at least $5. Good luck with your album release!

I just bought this. Lots to like on here. Great pads, some nice deep basses, cool percussion, some JMJ cues, and lovely sequences and arps. Not to mention the guitar and the sweet melodies. Nicely recorded and mixed too.

                  Good work
