I've been a fan of David since the release of Tin Drum. I really like his solo and collaborative work too.

Here is a concert recorded in Japan 10 years ago. I'm only 1/3 of the way through at the moment, but this is fantastic music.

That is a great gig, watched it a while back.

I think Ghosts got me into Japan, grabbed my attention, such an unearthly bunch of sounds (to my ~13yo ears ) Thread about that track on KvR at the mo, funnily enough.

Of his solo stuff I particularly like his Blemish album though don't think he's ever really put out anything that was less than at least interesting.

Tin Drum is definitely my favourite Japan album. I think each album they released was better than the previous one. It's a pity they split up when they did.

Blemish is great. I really liked that Nine Horses album too. His '80s and '90s solo albums were fantastic.
