  • Hi from robojam

    Hi

I use robojam a lot on forums, so you might see me elsewhere - name is Michael though (or Mike).

I've been playing music for too many years to remember and play a few different styles. Ambient of sorts is one of them, but I really need to write more than I do.

Yep, I've posted at KVR for quite a while now.

I'm on my work laptop doing some work right now but when I'm off that I'll try to post a few links to pieces

I can't believe I missed welcoming you to Ambient Online! I'm 4lb Kitty on KVR.

So, I got to inform you that you were the winner of our Recruitment Drive contest even before replying to your introduction thread. I'm sorry about that.

I've heard a few of your pieces even before you joined here, so I know you are a perfect fit for us.

And you're one of our top posters, too! Thank you for all you've done here.

Thanks Kitty - I knew who you were from KVR as I came here after seeing your thread

I haven't checked the site for a few days after not having access to anything other than my phone for internet which isn't great for forums, so glad that I managed to get people here.

@fate - funny you should say that as I was listening to some old stuff last night and might revamp some of the stuff I abandoned. In particular I found something with tin whistle and alto sax, so I might see what I can do with those. Not really ambient in either case, but I could post them here anyway in the other musical stuff area.

sounds cool, revamping can be a pleasant surprise sometimes...that old stuff wasn't so bad at all kind of thing. I used to play clarinet and sax at school...but it would take years to get my lip back
