Greetings, Ambient Online! :D

[Kyoga]

My name is Kyoga. As is obvious, I am an ambient producer/soundscape artist. I also play the guitar and on occasion write Orchestral music, but my purpose for starting an account here is to hopefully learn and understand more about the ambient scene.
I make a lot of ambient music, but I don't tend to listen to much of it, which is kind of odd.

I base most of my ambient work off of the old concept of the Cloud Synthesizer, which I move to recreate using various VSTs. Some of my projects use up to 100+ individual oscillators.
That can, unfortunately, make my production rather tedious and slow. =/

Anyways I'm looking forward to learning more and more from you guys and hopefully interjecting my own knowledge into the mixture.

Burnt this to CD yesterday and had it on repeat play.

I really like the interplay between the more buzzier sounds and the quieter gentle ones, also the movement in the soundstage.

There were moments I was not sure if the notes I was hearing in the background were actually there or not - which I really loved.

I found myself drifting off very nicely.....:mrcool:
