  • Greetings, Ambient Online! :D

My name is Kyoga. As is obvious, I am an ambient producer/soundscape artist. I also play the guitar and on occasion write Orchestral music, but my purpose for starting an account here is to hopefully learn and understand more about the ambient scene.
I make a lot of ambient music, but I don't tend to listen to much of it, which is kind of odd.

I base most of my ambient work off of the old concept of the Cloud Synthesizer, which I move to recreate using various VSTs. Some of my projects use up to 100+ individual oscillators.
That can, unfortunately, make my production rather tedious and slow. =/

Anyways I'm looking forward to learning more and more from you guys and hopefully interjecting my own knowledge into the mixture.

Here's an example of my work.

Dude, your music is great! Enjoying all these textures and soundscape layers...really immaculate, dark, and technical.

Really looking forward to having you with us and it already seems as if you've made quite a splash.

Cheers and welcome to the party,

Oh you will definitely learn something I know that much, check this out > http://www.ambientonline.org/forum/s...-Aphelion-quot I am still reading this and still indulging, its the best ever.

Listening to Kyoga - Caves as I type this, my kind of music, dark and surreal, I feel like I am underwater somewhere 3 miles down, that is what your music is doing to me.

Welcome to Ambient Online and by all means contribute as much as you can to the conversations, we all learn from eachother, its a friendly place to be a part of, like a family really, brothers n sisters making music together, a beautiful album of harmony/drones/scapes ect.

Am just glad I am here, without AO I feel empty inside, this place is the calling for me.

            Welcome aboard the ambient spaceship
I hope that you enjoy your flight :tu:

Burnt this to CD yesterday and had it on repeat play.

I really like the interplay between the more buzzier sounds and the quieter gentle ones, also the movement in the soundstage.

There were moments I was not sure if the notes I was hearing in the background were actually there or not - which I really loved.

I found myself drifting off very nicely.....:mrcool:

Care to share anything about how you made the track?
