Greetings fellow Ambients... Just recently returned from the Ambient Music Conference that was held in Helsinki. This was an awesome event with outstanding performances and workshops by some extremely talented people... Several people encouraged me to join AO, so here I am.
About me...
When I'm not working or being a family man, I dabble in what I consider myself as a soundscape artist of ambient / electronic music. Inspired by the likes of Tangerine Dream, Jean Michel Jarre, Klaus Schulz, Kraftwerk, Vangelis, Robert Miles... My early work (1990's) includes composing and producing many sound tracks for local planetariums - some of which can be found on Soundcloud at the link below. Am in the process of modernizing my studio (although I still love my original setup and analogue synths) and am settling on using Ableton Live as my main DAW, but am also exploring FL Studio, Reason, Cubase, and other tools. So, I'll be looking for advice and tips on this forum...
Some of my early work...
Looking forward to connecting and sharing with other like minded Ambients.
Cheers,
Rolf
