Hi everybody 
I'm Mac (formerly) of BIOnighT from Luino (Lombardia, Italy). For twelve years I was one half of the Berlin School music duo BIOnighT, but we split (not exactly on friendly terms) in Jan 2011. Happens. However, I've never stopped recording my own music and my fairly large catalog can be found here www.macvibes.com
I could never limit myself to one kind of music, so I record just about any genre that strikes my fancy - Berlin School, jazz, Italo Disco, ethnic, soundtrack, retro, contemporary, experimental, drone, ambient, anything at all.
These are my mainly ambient releases so far:
My active passions (things I do) are music and photography ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/macofbi...7634018685838/ ), my passive passions (things made by others I enjoy) include plenty of things: music (even if I listen to very little music), OTR (that's Old Time Radio, google it), darts (go Silverback! http://macofbionight.bandcamp.com/al...owers-and-apes ), 70's/80's anime, old science fiction, old movies, etc. I general, I give little time to everything, so I'm no expert in anything.
My house is surrounded by woods and nature, I'm vegetarian, I hate noise, pollution, stuff like that, but I am not a new age kind of person, anybody who says that gets a punch on the nose - you can love your health, your spirit, your brain and the nature we're all a part of without being a detached-from-reality would-be guru.
I wish there was room and interest for all kinds of music, but the mass is blind and refuses to open their minds, it's easier to let other people decide for you and be exploited by them, apparently. Not for me, and probably not for many of you.
I'm becoming polemic, so I'd better stop writing ;-P
