  • Networking, artist focus and extended reach for ambient artists

    Hi everyone.
I have an idea I want to try and am wondering if anyone is interested. I´m in the early stages of starting something called Void Brothers. The idea is a podcast, an Instagram, Youtube channel, and Spotify Playlists working towards the same goal; getting focus on unknown quality ambient music. How would this work? You send in your Bandcamp, Spotify, and contact info, if and when you are featured on a playlist, podcast, or otherwise (like being a featured artist) you SHARE it on all your platforms and we all should to some extent increase traffic to our music and to Void Brothers. There would also be retro video reviews based on written reviews from Hypnagogue who´s given his blessing to use his reviews in such a manner. If there is capacity I might add reviews of current albums in the same format.
The first playlist to be published will feature unknown gems within the ambient genre, playlist image below. The project will of course feature the well-knowns also, to reach the fans of the genre. Thoughts?

First one: Do you have a track on Spotify which would fit the theme "Music For Sleep"? Let me know

Great stuff! Your kind of stuff would be a fit for several themes/playlists. Are you on Facebook? I have a private group for artists featured in addition to the main Void Brothers group. Do join

Great! I´ve sent you a friend request, if you accept I can add you to the group and to the artist private group. That way we can sync our efforts when posting new pieces or playlists, videos, and such which you are part of.

I think this idea is brilliant! All working and promoting together is a way to go in the non-commercial genre. I am running a label and I would like to join and support this common goal!

For the playlist, I think this song would work: https://open.spotify.com/track/0HaOb...8a79ae9c204cad
                    Bandcamp // SoundCloud // YouTube // Spotify
