Love Robert's epiphany wearing his Walkman on the porch while painting was quite interesting. Very cool way to be hit over the head with ambient music. Very cool coming from visual art to audio art; the two are intertwined.

[Thought Experiment]

Listened to this last night on the long drag home from work - just the job Some very classy ambient on this podcast, and again, what a nice guy Robert Davies was. I presume that the 'APK' Robert refers to a few times is Anthony Paul Kerby, who records as The Circular Ruins? His music renewed my interest in ambient music over 10 years ago, when most of the good ambient stuff was quite underground and I was filling my head with drum'n'bass :D

Another great podcast, with a great collection of tracks. This podcast had a lighter vibe than some of the recent ones, and was a great way to spend a relaxing afternoon at home. I enjoyed the interview too, which contained some useful information and some wise words.
