    Can anyone help?

I keep having 2 problems, both on Firefox.

1 - Adobe flash player KEEPS on crashing. I have updated. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have rolled back and updated. I have updated Firefox. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. Nothing works. It keeps crashing. Worst of all it seems to crash more often when I am in the process of uploading something big (song/video) to a site. It does not stop or ruin the upload, but the crashing of the the player slows firefox down and makes it flicker constantly so switching between windows to update information is a real chore.

To solve this, I have to completely close and re-open Firefox. Which is annoying!

2 - If I have Firefox open for a while, the flashing keyboard cursor bar starts playing up by...
    - jumping backwards to the start of the line I am typing on so every new letter typed ends up behind the previous one,
    - or forwards to the end of the line.
Both of which prevent me also from being able to select/highlight what I am typing.
This also happens in flash player-required features such as SoundCloud tracks, so the "cursor" in the track jumps backwards making the song stutter backwards to the beginning.
The same also happens in Audacity????

To stop this from happening I have to hit "Switch User" on the Start menu and temporarily log-off my user area and then log back in again.

What the hell is going on??? I am getting so tired of it!

I have two suggestions...both of which you probably don't want to hear, but you sound like you need HEEEELP!

1.) Try Chrome. It's got Flash built in and they're constantly updating it behind the scenes so you never have to worry about what flash version you're on.

    -or-

2.) Go Mac and never look back.

Desperate times calls for desperate measures my friend...although I'm off the hook because I prefaced it with a warning.

Maybe one of the windows gurus around here can help you. Seismic?

I've had more and more problems with Firefox over the last year or so. It can be an extension - so check all yours (if you have any installed). Alternatively use Chrome, or use the Chrome alternative Comodo, http://www.comodo.com/ which I also use.

Nothing to do with Mac or PC

I've been using Chrome on Win 7 64-bit for 2-3 years now. The flash plugin is pretty stable. It probably crashes once or twice per month. About 18 months ago I had a period of 1 month where it was very unstable, but a lot of people seemed to be encountering the problem at the same time as me, so I'm fairly certain that it was one of those things that Google/Adobe sorted out and fixed under the covers. The problem eventually went away.

I would try uninstalling the Flash plugin and Firefox and re-installing, but you have already done that.

          Maybe check out this link:-

You could also install a flash blocker (if you haven't already), and then only use flash when you need to-- see if that helps.
