I find dreams fascinating on just about every level. I even enjoy listening to other people's dreams, except for the obviously fake ones. We usually talk about dreams as if we're just watching something, like watching a movie or TV, but actually we're involuntarily creating the whole show. It's simply awesome to have this kind of a connection to the unconscious available.
As a kid, the scariest nightmares I had didn't have monsters but were rather abstract and surreal. Later I've heard similar experiences from others who suggested it might be caused by the budding idea of infinity. I remember how those dreams had something very small in the middle of a massive, seemingly endless flat surface.
The latest dream I remember was absolutely mundane. I was buying cigarettes from a nearby store. While paying for those, I found out that I had way more money than I expected to have. When I woke up, I was still happy about all that extra money...
So, what have you dreamt lately?
