Excellent... I really should have a go of doing a video like this one day. Trouble is I rarely get something usable in a single take like this, so I need to rehearse more methinks

Loving everything about this one David.

Sixteen minutes long isn't a problem for me...

Love how you incorporate the tabla sample.

        Lovely evolving piece

Its a really great practice, I just decided from the start I wanted to document my progress warts and all, funny looking back I had things plugged in and was wiggling knobs with no effect. lol It really gets you thinking about structure, beginning middle and end of things. I usually record 3-4 takes and choose the best one.

Thanks alot. :-) Radio music is a super useful sampler and pretty easy DIY project, I want drum sounds but don't really see the point of having dedicated drum modules.

I like that multi, hovering over the synth. Ambinet but not without an edge.

              • Just received my final module in my 12u rack, a Synthtech E352 wavetable module. Made this track. One of the best things I think i've made, because it's so simple.

                    • For those interested in modulars, but presently without the free cash to begin their hardware adventure (or pay for plugin versions), VCV Rack https://vcvrack.com/ is a wonderful free way to explore the land o' patch cords and knob twiddling. It comes with the basics included, and there's plenty of quality free 3rd-party modules available as well.

                        Absolutely agree!!
Try it. We have a little VCV-discussion here:

I love to try ideas in my virtual VCV-rack.

                        • Let your modular compose the music
                          This session is ambient-ish...
I have not listened to the full recording that I'm now presenting to you.

I'm still relatively new to this but is this something that could be called a "Krell patch?"

                              No.

This is a Krell Patch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4iC78AgfueE
What is a Krell Patch? Envleopes/LFO controls the rise and fall of an envelope. As the end of cycle gives a trigger
a new tone is taken from a sample and hold.
                              A fun patch indeed

                              • Here is a very short (for me) experimentation with some new modules, Elements and Pressure Points + Brains:-

There is a bit of a description on SoundCloud for this piece.

                                cheers,
