3.5 mm jack to jack recommendations

Hi everyone,
I recently started messing about with an ipad... It has a case with a small opening to allow access to the headphone etc. socket... Dilemma time: I need a 3.5 mm jack male to male, 1.5 metre is fine, that is decent quality, and with a slim enough profile to fit through the narrow opening on the case... The one I have been using temporarily, is crappy quality, and the plug housing is too large a diameter to fit... A right pain!
there were a couple I have seen on Amazon, but thought I would see if anyone here had any experience/input

Have you looked on newegg.com? They have a good selection of cables.

I have bought a few cables from amazon (and Newegg)--not the particular one you are describing.

I have had success for the most part, as long as I didn't go crazy cheap. And if you do go crazy cheap, at least you can afford to replace it more frequently...

Yeah, I went crazy cheap on a USB cable from Newegg. The shipping cost was three times the cost of the cable…it never did work!! I would recommend spending for at least the mid-price cables

thanks folks, not much choice on newegg (one maybe suitable?)...(hadn't thought of there!)
so I'll see if I can narrow it down to a couple on Amazon...
