NAMM Jan 2015?

Hi guys, I thought I'd post this up in the hardware area but I guess it equally applies to everyone.

I just thought it'd be nice to have a place to talk about the upcoming NAMM January 2015. Is anybody going? What are you guys hoping to see there? What do you think is going to be there? Why are you excited to go etc etc.

Or maybe you don't care at all haha.

Personally I'm hoping a new Virus comes out. I'm cheekily hoping it'll bring the prices of the original TI down ;)

Every year I wait for new HW presentations at NAMM. And sometimes I buy: Strymon El Cap, Diamond Memory Lane 2, Moog Sub Phatty. But not this year because last summer 1 USD = 35 rubles, and nowadays 1USD = 65 rubles ;))) New hardware costs like gold.

Anyway, I hope to see
- Moog Matador, Moog sub rack
- Dave Smith analog poly with new filter section
- Elektron sampler/workstation
- Not shitty made Ableton live performance controller
- maybe Axe-FX FX floor processor (only interesting the fact of releasing this device)
and almost forget:
- New Yahama DX synth (I saw a render of fake render)

Yeah, I saw the update for the Moog Modular yesterday... absolutely crazy! Apparently the synth section this year is going to be bigger than it's ever been as well, so this could be reaaaaally cool!

I wonder what Dave Smith's getting his hands into? That picture doesn't give very much away... ;)

Teenage Engineering is obviously showing off the PO-12 calculator-sized digital drum machine. But they're showing something else, too, that they're being all sorts of sneaky about.

I own an OP-1, so yes, yes I do. And I will buy a PO-12 as soon as it's released. They're not a perfect company, the Oplab is buggy and has been waiting on a firmware update since 2012, and the OP-1 has a notoriously fragile input/output board, but there's nothing like the OP-1 out there right now.

I hope that someone release new groovebox/sequencer which can replace laptop for live gigs. With normal "not Elektron" screen and feature of playing/mixing tracks more than 10 minutes)

KMI introduced a mixer/audio interface/daw controller called the K-Mix. Not really what I need atm, though if I was just starting, maybe.
