Has anybody here yet had a chance to play with this? I am more than slightly interested in this package, although it is quite expensive at $600. I will be interested to hear any of your comments/experiences.

Sony Audio Master Suite

Bumping for any comments. I am seriously considering purchasing AMS, but it's quite an outlay, so I'd like to be sure before I dive in. The Spectralayers deconstruction facilities appear to be remarkably powerful and easy to use, and also very useful. Soundforge is bundled with a small suite of Izotope mastering tools and also comes with Zplane elastique timestretching, so it's not just an audio editor.
I currently have a few audio editors, including Wavelab, Goldwave and Audacity, which I use most of the time.

wish I had some info for you.
I use iZotope Ozone and Alloy and liked them. I couldn't seem to find out exactly what the Mastering Suite contained though. It looked to me like they were possibly unique iZotope products for the Sony thing.

Yeah, probably same good tools, just fewer controls; not necessarily a bad thing...

A few of the peeps on KVR use Soundforge exclusively for mastering, so they must be decent. Those Burial albums sound pretty good. It will be another learning curve, but it should be interesting.
