  • Reaktor

I really need to explore Reaktor more.

Does anyone have any good tips or tricks to this monster?

I'm looking for good ensemble instruments and effects, too.

Check out the user library for things you like, then deconstruct them. If you pull them apart you start to get a good feel for how they work under the hood and get ideas for what you can do yourself.

If something seems to complex, stop and find something simpler then work back up to the more complex ensembles.

Good idea. I hadn't really thought of pulling other user ensembles apart, but I guess there's no real better way to do it.

      Thanks!

Anyone have a copy of Reaktor they're not using? I'd be glad to provide it a loving home and give it a spin!!!!

Or for the darker, weirder stuff, check out Dieter Zoebel. Awesome Reaktor builder!

Search for ensembles by Kevin Hopper (better known as Kev Hopper, Stumps bassist).

Some lovely off-the-wall stuff by him in the UL, particularly Wool, could easily listen to that one all night.

                          Some great ensembles here: http://boscomac.free.fr/?p=rack

Really nice instruments but maybe even better effects all wrapped up in nice GUIs (for a change )

Will any of these ensembles run on Reaktor Player or do I need the full version to use them?

I believe you need the full version of Reaktor. :(
