I've managed to crash EnergyXT a few times when using multiple instances. I also managed not to. I'm still trying to figure out an exact repeatable sequence of events which will cause the crash to repeat. A single instance seems to be stable here.

I've just seen the Replika thread at KVR. The multi-instance crash only seems to happen when multiple instances are active and the GUI for each instance is visible, and the meters are active in both instances (if using two instances). I am able to bring up the GUI for the first instance, tweak my controls and then dismiss the GUI. I can do the same for the second instance. EnergyXT crashes if the GUI for both instances are displayed AND the meters in each GUI are active. If I dismiss the GUIs, everything seems to work.

Thanks for that, S!
I've yet to visit the KVR thread in question..meant to do it earlier tonight, but got sidetracked..and it's late/early here now (depending on where in the world you are..), but I mean to check it out at some stage tomorrow / in a few hours time.
Also have yet to put the info you passed on into practice..again for the same reasons, but hopefully it will work on my system, too. I'll post back here once I have.

For anyone wondering which version of OpenGL you have, try this handy utility http://www.realtech-vr.com/glview/
This informed me that I have version 3.1 and my graphics drivers are up to date so why Reaper keeps crashing is a mystery to me, I can't even load one instance.
I'm hoping this all gets fixed soon because the initial reports seem to suggest this is a great wee delay.
QUICK UPDATE: I now can get at least one instance of Replika running on Reaper using this http://reaperblog.net/2012/02/run-pl...cated-process/
I don't know about more than one instance yet.
QUICK UPDATE 2: 2 instances cause a crash.Last edited by Negative Spectrum; 12-20-2014, 04:24 AM.

I had a crash in Studio One when I closed it.
Other than that, it seemed a cool delay--nothing extraordinary, but a nice delay.
Kind of NI to do this each year.

I had to deinstall it - crashed Tracktion any time I tried to close the GUI. Le sigh.Home Page: http://www.syntheticaurality.com/

Not to sound ungrateful (I'm really not, regularly use other NI stuff all the time) but this must just be about the buggiest release ever, I can't recall any other plugin release failing so badly. Bet they alpha test a bit more thoroughly next time. ;)

I wish I could find a way to force a default GUI from Tracktion, or SONAR, or Acid. Everything I've tried.. died. Sad now.Home Page: http://www.syntheticaurality.com/
